If you are a resident of the Brevard community and would like to make a difference in the lives of women and families, we invite you to join the team at The Center for Women. We have several volunteer opportunities available.

Please fill out an application, and we will invite you to participate in our initial screening process and tour the center.

Our Mission Statement:

The Sanctity of Life of Transylvania County is a 501(c)(3) (DBA The Center for Women) is a Christian medical facility providing free services such as pregnancy testing, limited OB ultrasound, and confidential counseling to women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy; the purpose being to provide compassionate care and the information which will enable her to make an informed decision concerning her own well-being as well as that of her child.

The Center for Women has helped me and my family so much. They helped me with clothes and diapers. If they couldn't help with resources, they pointed me in the right direction. They are friendly women who are supportive of us young moms and all have a bond with our children.

The Center for Women has been a part of my life since 2011. They are the ones who literally saved my life before they probably knew it. In my third pregnancy, my mental health went downhill. I wanted to have an abortion. I had an ultrasound with no judgment or condemnation completely private and free. When I saw my baby, I decided to keep her.
